National Space Center Leicester

On the 8th of July we took some year 10 students to a careers conference at the National Space Center in Leicester. During the conference the students participated in a CV writing workshop, attended talks by various people working in the space sector and heard about all the different careers and career pathways that are available to them. The students really enjoyed a programming workshop where they learnt how to program a Rover to send to Mars and were inspired by the keynote speaker who discussed her career and the various projects she has worked on.
