We accept online payments for Academy meals and some trips using ParentPay. ParentPay offers you the freedom to make payments whenever and wherever you like, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – safe in the knowledge that the technology used is of the highest internet security available.
The ParentPay system allows you to view your child’s cashless catering account balance and can send you an email reminder when the balance gets low. In addition, the ParentPay system allows you to see all of the items purchased via the school meals service, at both break and lunch time. When you pay for Academy trips on line, you will have the option for larger trips (costing in excess of £50), to pay for the whole trip or to pay in instalments. If you opt to pay in instalments you will be able to view the outstanding balance at any time.
You have a secure online account, activated using a unique set of activation codes; you will be prompted to change these, and to keep them safe and secure as your Username and Password for future logins. If you have two or more children at Cecil Jones Academy, you can merge their accounts together once logged in so you only have to remember one username and password for ParentPay. You will have been provided with a ParentPay account user name and activation code when your child started school. However, if you have not used Parent Pay before and require these details again, then please speak to one of the school reception staff who will be able to assist you.
To use your ParentPay user name and activation code, please visit www.parentpay.com and click the red activate button in the top centre of the screen.
Making a payment is straightforward and ParentPay holds an electronic record of your payments to view at a later date; no card details are stored in any part of the system but are entered each time they are used. Once you’ve activated your account you can make online payments straight away. Payments made online will be credited within 12 hours to the relevant account, although this can be quicker. The ParentPay system is very easy to use, however, if you have any problems, please don’t hesitate to contact the school office or the Finance Department at Cecil Jones Academy.
