Planners

All students in the school have now been issued with a new school planner to be used for recording homework, home-school messages, attendance and reading journals. The planner is a crucial tool in helping students stay organised and equipped for learning. Students will carry their planners with them at all times and they should be visible on a student’s desk throughout all lessons.

We value open communication with parents and so ask that you sign your child’s planner each week, in the space provided on each page. Your child’s Form Tutor will also sign the planner on a weekly basis to ensure any issues are followed up. Each year group will be checked and signed by the Form Tutor as follows:

Year 7 and 8: Monday
Year 9: Tuesday
Year 10: Wednesday
Year 11: Friday

Any messages you wish to communicate with your child’s Form Tutor, Raising Standards Leader or Pastoral Team may be written in the allocated section and shown to the relevant member of staff.

Should your child forget their planner, they must see their pastoral team for a daily replacement. In the event a planner is lost or purposefully damaged, a replacement one must be purchased from the finance office at a cost of £3.
We thank you in advance for your support and cooperation.
