Work Experience

• The portal goes live on Friday 17th April until 1st May 

• You have two weeks to make your selections and will all have an equal chance of being allocated one of their choices at this point.  

• You are encouraged to make 6 selections to give you the best chance of being allocated one of the choices first time around. Make sure you put your 6 choices in preference order and click ‘submit’ to lock them in.  

• Make sure you have checked the location and only submit selections that you can travel to.  

• After the first allocation BEP will continue to run weekly to ensure all students are matched with a placement but obviously the ‘pool’ gets smaller each week for those students that leave it late.

• You will be issued with an information slip which will also contain your own personal PIN number. You will need this to log in.

• Students with their own placement should use their PIN to log on and check that everything is correct with their own placement details and alert me if they have any queries so that we can follow up or pick up any data errors.

• The portal is accessed via the BEP website so you can log in from school or home.  

• We will be arranging sessions in school to complete initially with the ability to then save progress and complete at home and check placement choices with parents.
