To celebrate National Careers Week, students across all year groups have been thinking about their futures.
On Monday, Year 8 students had a virtual workshop with the Cats Protection on being a behaviourist.
On Tuesday, Year 9 had a virtual workshop on design based careers for the Cats Protection and finally, Year 7 on Wednesday had a session on adoption centre careers within the Cats Protection.
Students said, “I found the session really fun and informative”.
“I didn't realise there were so many different types of careers with Cats Protection”.

Year 9 students this week, have also been asked to sign up for a future finances workshop to get them thinking about how income will dictate their budgeting.
All Years 10 to 13 students have had the opportunity this week to have an hour long online workshop on aspirations led by Make Happen. Student feedback was very positive and has got them thinking about their futures.  NCW.3

Lastly, in every curriculum lesson this week, students were shown a presentation about careers in that subject to inform their options or A level choices and to get them to think there is so much more to the subjects they study.
