Easter Bake Sale – in support of the Humanitarian Crisis in the UkraineBack
The Sixth Form Junior Leadership Team have worked hard this week to promote their latest bake sale, which included an Easter Egg sale. For the first time, the Sixth Form implemented a rewards system to enable a student discount on the purchase of cake or chocolate eggs. Teachers were given tokens to award their students for achievement and behaviour during their lessons, which enabled the discount. This has been a great incentive!
Bake sales are always a great success here at Cecil Jones and enable all year groups to come together to raise money for charity as well as reinforcing our sense of community.
All proceeds raised will be donated to charity in support of the Humanitarian crisis in the Ukraine.
Following on from the interviews, the sixth form team would like to invite Pre-Sixth Form students to attend an exclusive event on April 27th at 3pm.
The event will be held in the study room and will give students the opportunity to meet the team as well as teaching staff. They will be able to ask questions and get to know more about life in the Sixth Form, as well as enrichment opportunities.
We look forward to meeting all students, including our external candidates.
